Welcome dinner, wedding day, goodbye brunch

Multi day weddings
in Italy

When you get married far from home, the wedding is rarely just one day. Friends and family travel from far away, and the celebration starts before the ceremony and ends after the party.

I can photograph all of it, from the first evening together to the last goodbye, so your story includes the days around the wedding too.

Before and after

Why photograph
every day

The days around the wedding have a different pace: guests are more relaxed, the outfits are more casual and there’s more time to spend together.

For me it’s also a way to get to know you and your guests before the wedding day, so that on the day itself I’m already a familiar face.

The days

How it
usually goes

Every celebration is different and the program can change, but this is how it often goes.

Day one

Welcome dinner or pizza party

The first evening, when guests arrive and everyone finally meets: a welcome dinner or a more casual pizza party.

Day two

The wedding day

The ceremony, the cocktail hour, the dinner and the party: I tell the story of the whole day, just as I do for every wedding.

Day three

Goodbye brunch or pool party

The day after, to say goodbye: a brunch together or an afternoon by the pool, before everyone heads home.

And beyond

Your program

Some celebrations last longer, others skip a day. Tell me how you’re planning yours and we’ll work it out together.

How I work

The same approach,
every day

Over several days I work the way I always do: I follow what happens without interrupting, I move discreetly and I wait for the right moment.

When a wedding is far from Genoa, I try to arrive the day before to get to know the place, the routes and the spaces at the venue.

Good to know

Every celebration is different

There’s no single formula for a multi day wedding: the number of guests, the places and the kind of celebration change everything.

That’s why I prefer to hear about your plans first. Tell me what you have in mind for each day and I’ll put together a proposal made for you.

FAQ

Multi day weddings

01. Do you photograph every event?

Yes, from the welcome dinner to the goodbye brunch. We decide together which moments to cover, depending on your program.

02. How far ahead should we book?

I only take one wedding per date, and a multi day wedding takes up more than one: for a weekend between May and October I’d suggest writing to me at least a year ahead.

03. What if it rains?

Nothing changes for me. I always keep a clear umbrella in the car, and I’ve photographed weddings in every kind of weather, even during a red weather alert.
