Wedding photography services

Your wedding,
from getting ready
to the party

I’ve been photographing weddings since 2011, and over the years I’ve told the story of more than two hundred of them, across Genoa, Liguria and Piedmont.

Each year I choose around twenty, never more than twenty five, and I only take one per date: on your wedding day it’s me who’s there, from start to finish.

How I work

I step into your day
one small step at a time

I follow spontaneous gestures and the bonds between people, without shooting endlessly and at random: I wait for the right moment, the one where you’ll recognize yourselves when you look at the photos.

The couples who write to me usually ask for the same thing: spontaneous photos, no poses, the story of a day spent with friends. That’s exactly the work I love doing, and I get along best with people who care about details without obsessing over them, and who want to enjoy their party.

Collections

Three ways to
tell your story

Three collections to spread across your day however works best for you. Prices are in my price list, which I’ll send you when you get in touch.

Reception table set outdoors among the trees under hanging lights

8 hours

Designed for weddings of up to 70 guests: eight hours to spread across the day however works best for you. A month before, we build the timeline together and choose which moment to start from, so the story follows what matters most to you. Every photo is selected and edited one by one and delivered in high resolution. With one photographer.

500 to 700 photos

10 hours

It’s the collection I recommend most often: ten hours to use however you like, which in most cases cover the whole day, from getting ready to about an hour into the party. The photos arrive in high resolution in a private online gallery you can share with family and friends. With a second photographer*.

700 to 1000 photos

The couple embracing in the sunset light in front of Villa Durazzo

12 hours

Twelve hours for the whole day, from getting ready all the way to the party: it’s the most complete story I offer. Every photo is selected and edited one by one and arrives in high resolution in a private online gallery you can share with family and friends. With a second photographer*.

900 to 1200 photos

* A second photographer lets me tell the day from more than one point of view and follow getting ready and every move without missing a thing. Extra hours can be added, before the wedding or during it, and I’m also happy to photograph weddings that last several days.

The wedding day

I’m there,
without being noticed

A month before, we talk to build the timeline of the day together. On the wedding day I arrive for getting ready about two hours before the ceremony, and during the ceremony I move as little as possible.

I keep group photos simple, a few shots with family and the wedding party right after the ceremony. At sunset we take half an hour for couple portraits: it’s your moment to breathe and enjoy a few minutes on your own.

Photos and delivery

One by one,
with care

After the wedding I select the images one by one and edit them with a light touch on light, color and, when needed, framing, with no skin retouching.

Within two weeks I send you a preview of 5 to 10 photos; the full gallery arrives in about three months, in a private online gallery where you can download everything in high resolution. I don’t hand over raw files: it would be like a pizza maker giving you the dough and the toppings instead of the pizza.

Where I photograph

From Liguria
to the hills

I live in Genoa and photograph weddings in Italy: all over Liguria, in Piedmont and in Tuscany. Each area has its own light, its own pace and its own venues: you’ll find them here.

Portofino and the Italian Riviera

Santa Margherita, Portofino, Finale Ligure: historic villas, terraces over the sea and gardens among the olive trees.

Gavi, Monferrato and the Langhe: hills, vineyards and large wine estates.

Tuscany

Villas among the olive trees and the hills around Lucca.

Multi day celebrations

A welcome dinner or pizza party, the wedding day, then a goodbye brunch or a pool party: I can be there for all of it.

FAQ

Before you write to me

01. Do you also shoot video?

No, but for a few years now I’ve been working with some videographers: if you need one, I’ll pass on two or three contacts for a quote, and I’m also happy to work with the professional you’ve chosen.

02. Do you offer albums?

Yes, separately. They’re handmade albums, crafted by a workshop in Portugal: I’ll send you a first layout, you can swap any photos you like, and the album arrives in about a month.

03. Is travel included?

Yes, within 100 km each way. Beyond that I ask you to cover fuel and tolls and, when the trip is longer than about an hour and a half, an overnight stay as well.

04. What if it rains?

For me nothing changes. I’ve photographed weddings in every kind of weather, even during a red weather alert, and I always keep a clear umbrella in the car.

05. Will you publish our photos?

Only if you agree: in the contract, you choose whether to give your consent.

06. What happens if you’re sick on our wedding day?

I have a network of trusted colleagues, and in the contract I commit to finding a replacement.
