Charlotte and Niklas, a wedding in Cervo and at Locanda del Cavaliere

Charlotte and Niklas came from Germany and chose the Riviera di Ponente for their wedding, on the western stretch of the Italian Riviera: the ceremony in Cervo, one of the most beautiful villages on the coast, and the party at Locanda del Cavaliere, near Imperia.

The morning felt like a seaside holiday: the groom looking out over the promenade, the bride in a two piece dress with airy sleeves, getting ready in rooms full of light. The ceremony took place within the stone walls of Cervo, with piano music and a little boy sitting next to the couple. Then the village’s narrow lanes, its stairways, its warm colored walls: the perfect place for a few unhurried portraits.

At Locanda del Cavaliere the day carried on in the garden, among subtropical plants, vintage armchairs and tables under the trees. Speeches, laughter, a saxophone next to the DJ booth and string lights glowing in the branches: an outdoor party, relaxed and full of warmth.
