Francesca and Nicolò, a wedding at La Ginestra, Finale Ligure

La Ginestra is surrounded by greenery, just a few miles from the sea at Finale Ligure, and it’s a venue I have a lovely relationship with. Francesca and Nicolò chose it for a day full of color, with every detail cared for.

Getting ready began with the invitations and flowers laid out on the table, smiles in front of the mirror and the groom’s friends wrestling with their yellow ties. The religious ceremony took place in a baroque church, its aisle full of guests ready to celebrate. Outside, a white convertible Beetle was waiting for them, and then the garden at La Ginestra, where the late afternoon light accompanied their portraits.

Dinner in shades of peach, light blue and yellow, with hydrangeas, rattan chairs and lots of little lights above the tables, was the heart of the evening. Toasts, happy tears, dancing with the families and a cake cutting framed by flowers and lanterns: a warm, bright party, just like them.
